Triad Engineering, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Services Practice Leader for its Northwestern Region, which includes west PA, east OH, and north, WV. The position is located in our Morgantown, WV office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and directing all project management and technical staff for the environmental services practice across the region. The Practice Leader runs the “practice” in a manner which is profitable, professional, business-like, timely, responsive, and which encourages future growth. This person has reached senior level status in their field and is viewed as a skilled professional. They possess strong technical skills as well as business development, financial, and personnel management skills.

Duties: |
This position is responsible for prioritizing and scheduling the workload to ensure high quality deliverables in a timely and efficient manner, with an emphasis on accuracy and client satisfaction. They assist the Regional Manager in planning, staffing, management, and public relations activities, and serves as a technical leader by providing advice, counsel, risk management, and peer review to ensure the technical appropriateness and accuracy of field work, subcontractor work, and all documents and reports. The Practice Leader monitors staffing requirements to anticipate the need for hiring additional personnel or curtailing staff. They implement appropriate contracting and subcontracting procedures that minimize Company liability exposure and ensures fair and equitable fee arrangements. They prepare, review and update budgets, billing projections, business development goals, and other corporate budgeting efforts.
This position actively participates in business development activities, including presentations to clients and at public events, demonstrating technical credentials and professional expertise. They work closely with marketing staff in proposal preparation and constantly prospects for new clients and opportunities.

Qualifications: |
Education - Bachelor's degree in appropriate engineering or science field. Advanced degree is desirable. Relevant and extensive experience may be substituted for degree.
Experience - Ten years of relevant progressive experience in the environmental field.
Certifications - Valid state registrations/certifications (PE, or PG, or LRS).
